It's a good grocery store but I think the prices are higher than most others.
Terrible parking, terrible shopping experience. Filthy in the parking lot and even the store is cluttered. The gas station is in the way. Too bad it's the only store close but I drive 15 miles now out of my way to go to a cleaner and better store. I can't believe I'm giving you two stars.
Prices high and not competitive at all. The office staff seem rude and like high school girls than customer service. Handful of previous employees complained about only one 20 minute break for 6-8 hour shifts. Unless you're one of the "special employees," then you can sneak off from register or to have extra smoke break whenever.
I went to Shop n Save tonight for 2 orders of they’re fried chicken dark meat only. For 1 reason the visit pissed me off was the guy was hiding in the back room someone had to tell him to come out to take care of me the 2nd thing that pissed me off was I asked for the chicken and he was being a dick about it had a nasty attitude. He said he didn’t have enough to fill 2 orders so I asked him to put some in the fryer he point blankly said no so I went to the manager and he asked some other guy bout it the other guy apparently works back there cause his words were “We shut the fryer down between 2-3 pm.” So I walked out with nothing.
The employees talk among themselves while at checkout making the lines go slower.
It’s a ok grocery store a little bit pricey.. Shinnston needs to maybe add another grocery store... I miss Foodland.
